Where is it?



The games room is located in Burthorpe, just north of the Heroes’ Guild. The easiest way to get here would be to use a Games Necklace and teleport. In order to get to the actual games part, go down several flights of stairs until you see a bar.




Games



In this room, you can find four games. You can compete with other players and have either ranked or unranked games, depending on how competitive you actually are. The games have original names, but they’re exactly like games you may be familiar with.



Draughts



This is like a game we all know and love: Checkers. In case you don’t know, the object of the game is to take all of your opponent’s pieces by jumping over them with your own. You can only move forward diagonally with normal pieces, but you can move diagonally backwards and forward if you turn your piece into a king by reaching your opponent’s side of the board.




Runesquares



In this game, you’re trying to get as many boxes with your rune in them as possible. During your turn, you can click on any gray line on the grid to draw it. If you complete a box (1 unit by 1 unit), your rune gets placed in it and you get to draw another line.




Runelink



Runelink is simple, but still fun. The object of the game is to get four of your runes in a diagonal, horizontal, or vertical line. To place a rune, click on the column you want to place it in, and it’ll fall as far down the column as it can.




Runeversi



This is probably the most complicated of the four games. The point of the game is to have more of your pieces on the board than your opponent by the time the board is full. You do this by trapping your opponent’s pieces between two of your own to turn them into more of your pieces. It’s recommended that you try to get the corners because they give you access to a great amount of pieces to capture.
