Introduction

Penguin Hide and Seek is a Distractions and Diversions mini-game where you seek out and and spy on the Bolshevik Penguins hiding through out Runescape. The penguins have disguised themselves, and infiltrated the cities of Runescape. It's up to you to report to Larry the Zookeeper on what they are up to, and stop these penguins bent on world domination. Larry can be found in the East Ardougne Zoo.

Recommendations/Requirements

Penguin Hunting has no requirements, but it will use up alot of your energy so it is good to have a high Agility level while hunting them down. Wearing armor of any kind is best avoided. Some places on Runescape require a quest to be accessed. So places like Morytania, Neitiznot, and Prifddinas, will require a bit of questing. A good idea of what to bring while Penguin Hunting is as follows.

- Boots of Lightness.
- Spiritt Terrorbird Pouch.
- Laws, or teletabs, if you do not meet the magic requirement.
- Spotted or Spottier Cape.
- Agility pots.
- Lunar Staff or Dramen Staff, for accessing fairy rings.

Hints & Tips

Penguins are very sneaky creatures, and will use highly advanced disguises to keep the humans away from their investigations. There are six different penguin disguises, all that match their surroundings. These include

Each week the penguins are sent to new destinations, and will not be kept in the same area for too long. Penguins are always on the move, and will not wait for you to catch up! A good idea on how to get penguin points fast is doing it with some friends, the more eyes you have the faster you will catch those penguins! Another good way to track them down is by visiting the clan chat channel called ' Penguins_ w60 '. Of course you will need to be in world 60, to help the search.

Rewards

After you are satisfied with the number of penguin points you have you can contact Larry the Zookeeper at Ardougne Zoo, or by using the Lunar spell ' Contact NPC '. If you decide you want to save your penguin points, Larry the Zookeeper will keep track of up to 50 points. You can earn a maximum amount of 15 points per week. Spending your hard-earned penguin points can be very very rewarding! There are two very special rewards to spend your points on, coins and XP... ahh the foundation of Runescape. For each point you get, you will be able to receive 6,500 gp. Now multiply that times 50! The XP reward is also a VERY great way to train those tough skills, like Construction and Summoning! The ' Cold War ' quest is highly recommended for Penguin Hunting. By doing the Cold War quest, Larry knows you a bit more, and can trust you are doing a good job. Therefore if you find a hard penguin (such as one found in the Wilderness) he will reward you with 2 penguin points!
